Gene Fredriksen: 2020 Cyber Leader Vision
If you are a Sci-Fi fan like me, you will probably remember a line spoken by Sarah Connor in the Terminator movie series. She said "The future's not set. There's no fate but what we make for ourselves." I don't usually do strategic security planning based on a line from a movie, but in this case there is some wisdom in the words. We are living in a time of remarkable change in technology, regulatory oversight and workforce values. What skills will you need to survive by 2020? Have you analyzed whether your current programs will survive in the next three years? Do you have the ability to clearly communicate the value of cyber security to Executives and the Board. This session will use plain english and practical examples to make these critical skills clear and easily understood.
